Biography

Dr. Quin Jernigan joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021 following a successful early career in university education. Her experience in teaching, assessment and curriculum development, led to a role as a learning experience designer for data center operations engineers. Here, she developed upskilling and training programs, resulting in employee advancement. Currently, Dr. Jernigan is a Manager for Workforce Development within the AWS Economic Development team, and develops educational programs/opportunities that support cloud infrastructure. Primarily, she manages the 2-day fusion splicing program; which provides hands-on skills training for adult learners, reaching nearly 600 learners across the USA, Canada and Ireland.
